POLICE DEPARTMENT
The Orrville Police Department seeks applicants to take an exam for the classified position of Police Officer. Responsibilities are varied and involve the enforcement of state and local laws. Applicants must possess the ability to deal tactfully and firmly with the public, understand and interpret a wide range of local laws, understand and give commands and directions. Pay range: $31.36 to $40.59, after FTO training is completed, plus fringe benefits.

2024 Summer Employment - All Departments
The City of Orrville is now accepting applications for the 2024 Summer. Applications are now being accepted for summer employment with the City of Orrville. Applications must be completed electronically and emailed to hr@orrville.com to be considered. Lifeguard applicants must provide proof of their certification with their applications or check the box signifying your willingness to become certified. Applicants must be at least age 16, a full full-time school student, a full-time college student, or retiree.
Individuals who worked for the City last summer and whose job performance met requirements will be given first consideration. then Orrville City Schools students and teachers, then on a first come, first serve basis. However, for Lifeguard and Park & Pool Office positions, preference will be given to applicants who possess current Lifeguard & CPR certifications, or provide copies of certification by April 1, 2023.
